Important Security Note: FlowTest connects to your Instagram professional account exclusively through Meta's official APIs and official authorization flows. FlowTest never asks for, accesses, or collects your Instagram password.
1. Information We Process
FlowTest connects Instagram professional accounts (Business or Creator) through Meta's official OAuth and Graph APIs. Depending on your configuration, FlowTest may process the following information strictly as needed to provide the service:
- Instagram Account & Profile Information: Professional account ID, username, and account type obtained via official Meta authorization.
- Comments & Direct Messages: Incoming comments and messaging events received via Meta Developer Webhooks for the purpose of executing automated trigger rules.
- Automation Settings: User-defined rule names, trigger keywords, and automated response message templates created inside the app.
- Webhook & Simulation Data: Real-time webhook delivery metadata and local simulation event logs used for verification and debugging.
2. How Information Is Used
The information processed by FlowTest is used solely for:
- Authenticating your account connection via official Meta OAuth dialogs.
- Detecting configured keyword triggers on your Instagram posts.
- Executing public replies and private responses according to your saved automation rules.
- Displaying activity logs, connection status, and diagnostic metrics inside the FlowTest interface.
3. Data Storage & Security
Sensitive credentials (such as Meta App Secrets and OAuth tokens) are securely handled on the backend and are never exposed to the client application. FlowTest does not sell, rent, or share your account data or message history with third parties.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
